At the end of the XIX century the merchant Vasily Kuznecov built common watermill in Chelyabinsk on the river bank Miass. In the beginning of the XX century he sold it to merchant Arkhipov, though several years later he lost it. After the revolution it was nationalized by the Soviet Government. So, Grigory Polunin became the first manager of the watermill.
In the 1925 the time of buildings on the enterprise has begun: grain dryer was equipped, storage rooms were expanded. After the war grain processing volumes grow year by year. The elevator and several new departments including mixed fodder were built near the watermill.
In current decades the enterprise worked for the country blessing. The time of developments came in the 80-s, when it was decided to built new watermill with capacity of 300 tons. By the end of the 1984 it had put into operation.
Today the complex of these buildings forms the JSC “KHP name of Grigorovich” that was called by the name of it's oldest worker Anatoliy Fedorovich Grigorovich in 1992.
In the beginning of 90-s young and active Alexander Berestov became the director of the plant. Under his direction the JSC “KHP name of Grigorovich” became the basic enterprise of the Soyuzpischeprom Inc., which was founded in 1998. Today several large enterprises are working under the united trade mark Soyuzpischeprom. Among them are: JSC “KHP name of Grigorovich”, JSC “Chelyabinsk Center of Grain Production 1”, JSC “Varna Center of Grain Production” , CJSC “Chebarkulskaya ptitsa” and LLC “Timiryazevskaya farm” .
